José Carlos Ferraz's late challenge caught a Arabela AD's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Carlos Ferraz helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, José Carlos Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rodolfo Mineiro in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fernando Romano, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ian Pimenta recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Greg Lee showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ivo Pinheiro in the 13th minute of the match. Greg Lee stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Júnior Schmidt's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Ivo Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Lee. Arabela AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivo Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dito Abraão made in the 21st minute of the game a quick throw-in and Jano Munhoz immediately put the ball in play. 24 minutes into the game, one of Arabela AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. 26 minutes into the game, Ivo Pinheiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Greg Lee was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Greg Lee showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ivo Pinheiro, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Buritama were awarded a corner in the 35th minute after Arabela AD's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Júnior Schmidt took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Júnior Schmidt got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Greg Lee quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. When Buritama's Ivo Pinheiro in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Arabela AD's goalie prevented a goal. 39 minutes into the match, Arabela AD's Renatinho Hoffmann sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fernando Romano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Ian Pimenta struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Greg Lee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buritama. Ivo Pinheiro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Greg Lee read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 42nd minute of play. Ivo Pinheiro struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Greg Lee didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Buritama. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arabela AD's goalkeeper Greg Lee, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The wind increased when Ivo Pinheiro made the kick off in the second half. 52 minutes into the match, Ivo Pinheiro had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Greg Lee. Arabela AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ivo Pinheiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Júnior Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot. Buritama's supporters rose to their feet, but Júnior Schmidt was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Greg Lee breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Greg Lee made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivo Pinheiro in the 57th minute of play. The long shot by José Carlos Ferraz in the 59th minute really tested Greg Lee's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After a rather tough play, Buritama's Júnior Schmidt got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 78th minute, Buritama's Ian Pimenta ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Greg Lee. Greg Lee yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-4. Ivo Pinheiro had several of the Arabela AD's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 83 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Greg Lee as he didn't even see the shot coming. In the 89thth minute of the game Ivo Pinheiro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Arabela AD's Greg Lee was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 94th minute, Ivo Pinheiro fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 96th minute, José Carlos Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Buritama played a much better game than Arabela AD and deserved their victory. The Arabela AD players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
