Gilson Arósio showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Sousa, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. Cauã Valle scored 1-0 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dé Koehler, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rodrigo do Valle in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gilson Arósio saved Vora from getting behind. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Araripe EC's goalkeeper Dé Koehler, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Laerte Sousa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gilson Arósio having to make a save. Vivaldo Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 82nd minute Vivaldo Pimenta shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dé Koehler saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 83rd match minute, Araripe EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Osvaldo Couto to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute, one of Araripe EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Araripe EC. The referee gave Vora a penalty, 86 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Rodrigo Marinho, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Araripe EC's Dé Koehler. 4-1. With a little luck, Vora's Gilson Arósio got control of the ball when Rodrigo do Valle tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Rodrigo do Valle came up free with the goalie in the 93rd minute, the Araripe EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodrigo do Valle couldn't finish the play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Araripe EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Vora.
