Spectators: 7195 (Terracing: 5398, Seating: 1654, VIP seats: 143) Arabela AD's Tadeu Correia started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tadeu Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tiago Gabriel Vergílio having to interfere. In the 11th minute, Ibiara's Marcinho Pereira dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Marcinho Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Marcinho Pereira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Greg Lee having to interfere. Greg Lee was a little too slow when Marcinho Pereira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 18th minute. The score was now 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rodolfo Mineiro in the 25th minute of play forced Ibiara's goalkeeper Tiago Gabriel Vergílio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcinho Pereira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Greg Lee tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Renatinho Hoffmann hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. Luiz Gustavo de Almeida kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Rodolfo Mineiro struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Tiago Gabriel Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arabela AD. If Rodolfo Mineiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 37th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rodolfo Mineiro came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Arabela AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rodolfo Mineiro couldn't finish the play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Marcinho Pereira was the one to do the kick off. Tiago Gabriel Vergílio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeu Correia in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 53rd minute, Renatinho Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ibiara's Marcinho Pereira got a good chance for a goal in the 56th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rodolfo Mineiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 62nd minute, Luiz Eduardo Veiga had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 62 minutes, Marcinho Pereira mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ibiara and the Arabela AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcinho Pereira kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Ibiara's Váldson de Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 82nd match minute, Ibiara was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Váldson de Lara to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, Ibiara's Marcinho Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Greg Lee made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1.
