Spectators: 5001 (Terracing: 4001, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rubinho da Silva got the match started through his kick off. If Rubinho da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emílio Monteiro came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Gold Roaring Lyons's Rubinho da Silva. But to his dismay, Rubinho da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 15 minutes into the match, Acácio Vieira notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Gold Roaring Lyons's Alfredão Mendes. Alfredão Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to SouPobre Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Edinho Ramalho hit a great ball. Guilherme Alagoano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Samuca Machado charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Samuca Machado the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 22 played minutes Gold Roaring Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Samuca Machado. In the 24th minute Claudinei Seco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by João Paulo Vander during the 26th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in SouPobre Futebol Clube fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Emílio Monteiro went to the wrong direction when Felippe Prata was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Victor de Alcântara kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. Emílio Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubinho da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Alfredão Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Seco in the 45th minute of play. If Victor de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

Rubinho da Silva blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emílio Monteiro having to make a save. With a little luck, SouPobre Futebol Clube's Emílio Monteiro got control of the ball when Victor de Alcântara tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in SouPobre Futebol Clube's zone, Rubinho da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Monteiro came out of the goal and Rubinho da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 58 minutes into the match, Douglas Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredão Mendes. Gold Roaring Lyons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Douglas Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Emílio Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor de Alcântara in the 62nd minute. Acácio Vieira hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Gold Roaring Lyons defense, Claudinei Seco kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Alfredão Mendes. The Gold Roaring Lyons fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Alfredão Mendes should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho da Silva in the 73rd minute of play forced SouPobre Futebol Clube's goalkeeper Emílio Monteiro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredão Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Acácio Vieira in the 77th minute of play. 78 minutes into the match, Davi da Rocha had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Alfredão Mendes. Gold Roaring Lyons's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Davi da Rocha was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in SouPobre Futebol Clube's zone, Victor de Alcântara stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emílio Monteiro came out of the goal and Victor de Alcântara tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Victor de Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rubinho da Silva might have been able to make a better finish in the 93rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Emílio Monteiro. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Rubinho da Silva ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew the final whistle, SouPobre Futebol Clube could leave the field as winners, despite Gold Roaring Lyons having more of the ball for most of the match.
