Spectators: 7288 (Terracing: 5468, Seating: 1676, VIP seats: 144) Anajas's Murilo Quintal started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Kong Ping sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 5 minutes into the game, Kong Ping cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Lenílson Arce was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. A collision led to Anajas getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Jorge Moraes hit a great ball. The Laus Deo fans' excitement grew in the 9th match minute when Laus Deo's Kong Ping looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 12 minutes into the match, Kong Ping notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of Anajas's Lenílson Arce. Lenílson Arce was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Arsenio Manni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Murilo Quintal in the 16th minute of play. In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind Anajas's goalkeeper Lenílson Arce, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 21 minutes into the match, Anajas's goal looked a bit too open when Grzegorz Roman came free, but Lenílson Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Anajas's Murilo Quintal got a free kick in the 26th minute. After 27 minutes, Kong Ping made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. Anajas's Lenílson Arce tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the game, Laus Deo's Kong Ping nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenílson Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kong Ping in the 36th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Lenílson Arce prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Murilo Quintal during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Anajas's Murilo Quintal got a free kick in the 38th minute. The Laus Deo fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Laus Deo's Kong Ping looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Cacá Diniz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51stth minute of the game Kong Ping who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Anajas's Lenílson Arce was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Anajas's zone, Peder Mellingen stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Arce came out of the goal and Peder Mellingen tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Lenílson Arce made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Kong Ping sent off a good shot on target. After having played for 60 minutes, Robinho Recife managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laus Deo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robinho Recife was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gildo Tande received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lenílson Arce came out and tried to block the shot, but Gildo Tande slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 64th minute. Laus Deo made a substitution. Eliseu Arósio replaced Antonio Gora. Laus Deo's Michel de Alcântara was substituted for Peder Mellingen. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cacá Diniz got free with Lenílson Arce in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Kong Ping could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 74th minute of the match, but Lenílson Arce made a huge save. After some careless play in the Anajas defense, Gildo Tande kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lenílson Arce. The Anajas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lenílson Arce should have stopped the shot. In the 78th minute, Kong Ping ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lenílson Arce was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-10. If Kong Ping had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 89 minutes, Gildo Tande managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laus Deo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gildo Tande was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Laus Deo's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
