Jaquhype FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gold Roaring Lyons the free kick. In the 6th minute Remo Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alfredão Mendes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The attack was good, but when Remo Andrade in the 6th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. When Rubinho da Silva came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Gold Roaring Lyons fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubinho da Silva couldn't finish the play. Válbson Ferraz came out of the goal in the 13th minute to try and stop a shot by Gold Roaring Lyons's Rubinho da Silva. But to his dismay, Rubinho da Silva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Alfredão Mendes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Armandinho do Nascimento went, in the 16th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. In the 22nd minute, Armandinho do Nascimento made a precise shot to the right of Alfredão Mendes. Gold Roaring Lyons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Belmiro Faria charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Belmiro Faria the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Jaquhype FC getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Belmiro Faria hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 29 minutes, Rubinho da Silva took a quick shot and it went in 2-2 without a chance for Válbson Ferraz to make any attempt to save it. Décio Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Válbson Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the match, Gold Roaring Lyons's goal looked a bit too open when Armandinho do Nascimento came free, but Alfredão Mendes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 45 minutes into the match, Marco Tande notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Gold Roaring Lyons's Alfredão Mendes. Alfredão Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubinho da Silva was the one to do the kick off. Guilherme Alagoano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 52nd minute. Válbson Ferraz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Zé Roberto do Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jaquhype FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-4. Rubinho da Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Mendes was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Remo Andrade capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Remo Andrade really showed his touch with that goal: 3-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Tande in the 72nd minute of play forced Gold Roaring Lyons's goalkeeper Alfredão Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 73rd minute, Jaquhype FC's Zé Roberto do Valle dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-6. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marco Tande in the 77th minute of play forced Gold Roaring Lyons's goalkeeper Alfredão Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Gold Roaring Lyons's Alfredão Mendes got control of the ball when Armandinho do Nascimento tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Roberto do Valle could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Alfredão Mendes made a huge save. 85 minutes into the match, Gold Roaring Lyons's goalkeeper Alfredão Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Armandinho do Nascimento. Alfredão Mendes was a little too slow when Marco Tande got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 87th minute. The score was now 3-7. Alfredão Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marco Tande in the 90th minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Marco Tande took a quick shot and it went in 3-8 without a chance for Alfredão Mendes to make any attempt to save it. The Gold Roaring Lyons supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Jaquhype FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Jaquhype FC.
