Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sílvio Jacinto started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pereiro's Filipe Catarinense got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Joélson Ortiz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Mendes in the 3rd minute of play. Taboco's Donato Amorim proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Taboco from getting a goal against them. Arthur da Costa kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Claudinei Luz succeeded in the game's 25th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-3. After the first half Taboco were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Claudinei Luz to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Taboco's Claudinei Luz got a free kick in the 52nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sílvio Jacinto in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Amorim saved Taboco from getting behind. A collision led to Pereiro getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. André Luís de Andrade hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pereiro's zone, Claudinei Luz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joélson Ortiz came out of the goal and Claudinei Luz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Pereiro getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gilvan Abraão hit a great ball. In the 69th minute, Pereiro's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Claudinei Luz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Claudinei Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joélson Ortiz having to interfere. After 91 minutes, Claudinei Luz made it 1-4 with a short kick to the right side. Pereiro's Joélson Ortiz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 95 minutes into the game, Claudinei Luz cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-5. Joélson Ortiz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the match was over Taboco could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Pereiro throughout the match.
