Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Rubinho da Silva kicked off to start the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubens Mendes in the 4th minute of play forced Gold Roaring Lyons's goalkeeper Alfredão Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudinei Luz got free with Alfredão Mendes in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Taboco getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Zé Paulo Botelho hit a great ball. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gold Roaring Lyons! Doni Furtado walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Alfredão Mendes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Enio Meirelles, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gold Roaring Lyons's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Dieguinho Cavalcante scored to the left of an out of position Alfredão Mendes, making the score, 1-0. Alfredão Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens Mendes in the 27th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Gold Roaring Lyons's goalkeeper Alfredão Mendes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Claudinei Luz. Alfredão Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Enio Meirelles in the 41st minute of play. After 43 played minutes Gold Roaring Lyons got a freekick which was hit by Moisés Urbano. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rubens Mendes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Claudinei Luz made a precise shot to the right of Alfredão Mendes. Gold Roaring Lyons's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. Alfredão Mendes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rubens Mendes in the 55th minute of the match. Rubens Mendes took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Alfredão Mendes. Alfredão Mendes dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Victor de Alcântara received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Donato Amorim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alfredão Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. 76 minutes into the match, Claudinei Luz notched a goal, 6-0, to the right of Gold Roaring Lyons's Alfredão Mendes. Alfredão Mendes was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfredão Mendes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rubens Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. 82 minutes into the game, Rubens Mendes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-0. Alfredão Mendes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Alfredão Mendes came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Taboco's Dieguinho Cavalcante. But to his dismay, Dieguinho Cavalcante quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 8-0. Alfredão Mendes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Botelho in the 89th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Victor de Alcântara got free with Donato Amorim in the 91st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Guilherme Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 92nd minute. Donato Amorim didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gold Roaring Lyons. 93 minutes into the game, Dieguinho Cavalcante was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Taboco's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Gold Roaring Lyons the free kick. A collision led to Taboco getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Dieguinho Cavalcante hit a great ball. Taboco's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
