Samuca Machado kicked well hit freekick during the 4th minute of the match. Victor de Alcântara sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Victor de Alcântara scored 0-1 in the 15th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lenílson Arce, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 21 minutes, Guilherme Alagoano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gold Roaring Lyons's supporters crossed their fingers, but Guilherme Alagoano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victor de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 26th minute of the match, Murilo Quintal tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Alfredão Mendes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Guilherme Alagoano struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Lenílson Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gold Roaring Lyons. After a defensive mix-up in Anajas's zone, Rubinho da Silva stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lenílson Arce came out of the goal and Rubinho da Silva tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Anajas getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Murilo Quintal hit a great ball. Anajas's Lenílson Arce played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho da Silva in the 33rd minute of play. Victor de Alcântara recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 36th match minute, Gold Roaring Lyons was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Victor de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Anajas's goal looked a bit too open when Rubinho da Silva came free, but Lenílson Arce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Matorin hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Rubinho da Silva struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Lenílson Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gold Roaring Lyons.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Murilo Quintal to make the kick off. Rubinho da Silva's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lenílson Arce read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. In the 53rd match minute, Anajas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorge Moraes to maneuver through the defense. Guilherme Alagoano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Murilo Quintal in the 65th minute of play forced Gold Roaring Lyons's goalkeeper Alfredão Mendes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 70 minutes into the game, Gold Roaring Lyons's Victor de Alcântara nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lenílson Arce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. When Márcio Paraibano fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anajas's protests and gave Márcio Paraibano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, one of Anajas:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Anajas. Victor de Alcântara struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Lenílson Arce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Gold Roaring Lyons. When the match was over Gold Roaring Lyons could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Anajas throughout the match.
