After 4 minutes, Dieguinho Cavalcante mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Taboco and the SouPobre Futebol Clube players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 5 played minutes Taboco got a freekick which was hit by Dieguinho Cavalcante. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Acácio Vieira during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Acácio Vieira hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Claudinei Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 10th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Monteiro having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SouPobre Futebol Clube's Gualter Santos got a free kick in the 11th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudinei Luz in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Monteiro saved SouPobre Futebol Clube from getting behind. 14 minutes in the game, Claudinei Seco fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Donato Amorim having to interfere. In the 17thth minute of the game Claudinei Luz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but SouPobre Futebol Clube's Emílio Monteiro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Claudinei Luz sped through SouPobre Futebol Clube's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emílio Monteiro. After 36 minutes of play, Taboco's Rubens Mendes made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Rubens Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 46th minute, Claudinei Luz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Emílio Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3.

Claudinei Seco recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A collision led to SouPobre Futebol Clube getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Haroldo Paraense hit a great ball. Claudinei Luz struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Emílio Monteiro didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Taboco. Rubens Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Emílio Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, SouPobre Futebol Clube's Davi da Rocha got a free kick in the 61st minute. Rubens Mendes was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 63rd minute. Taboco's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 64 minutes of play, Taboco's Claudinei Luz made it 0-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Emílio Monteiro was left in no man's land by his defense there! Dieguinho Cavalcante blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Emílio Monteiro having to make a save. If Claudinei Seco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gualter Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. In the 75th minute, Doni Furtado sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and SouPobre Futebol Clube's Emílio Monteiro didn't even have to move. When Claudinei Luz came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Taboco fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Luz couldn't finish the play. Taboco's Claudinei Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Claudinei Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emílio Monteiro having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rubens Mendes in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emílio Monteiro saved SouPobre Futebol Clube from getting behind. Emílio Monteiro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinei Luz in the 95th minute of play. In the 97th minute of the match, Rubens Mendes tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emílio Monteiro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. The SouPobre Futebol Clube fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Taboco were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
