Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Manuel Leme made the kick off which started today's match. Joaquim Motta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 4th minute of the match, but Zeca Correia made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Leme in the 5th minute of play forced Quirinopolis's goalkeeper Zeca Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gernando Fonseca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 11th minute, Gernando Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Quirinopolis's goalkeeper Zeca Correia, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 17th minute Gernando Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dráuzio Breckenfeld saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Manuel Leme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 23rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 27 minutes into the match, Quirinopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Leme came free, but Zeca Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manuel Leme in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Zeca Correia saved Quirinopolis from getting behind. When Manuel Leme came up free with the goalie in the 42nd minute, the II Vasco II fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Manuel Leme couldn't finish the play. The crowd rose to their feet as II Vasco II's Manuel Leme slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Zeca Correia. That made the score 1-0 after 44 minutes of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Perivaldo de Azevedo to make the kick off. When II Vasco II's Manuel Leme in the 51st minute got a chance for a shot 51st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Quirinopolis's goalie prevented a goal. 52 minutes into the match, II Vasco II's Joaquim Motta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Zeca Correia narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Joaquim Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Zeca Correia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 60 minutes into the match, Quirinopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Leme came free, but Zeca Correia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Manuel Leme in the 61st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Mané Dante kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. If Manuel Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Motta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zeca Correia showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manuel Leme in the 74th minute of the match. When Joaquim Motta came up free with the goalie in the 75th minute, the II Vasco II fans jumped to their feet. In the 81st minute, Joaquim Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeca Correia took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 84th play minutes Joaquim Motta shot 2-0, a short shot which went by Zeca Correia and just under the crossbar into goal. If Perivaldo de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dráuzio Breckenfeld made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Gernando Fonseca sent off a good shot on target. After a defensive mix-up in Quirinopolis's zone, Joaquim Motta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Zeca Correia came out of the goal and Joaquim Motta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
