The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Murilo Guedes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca. Afonsinho Pirani could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Murilo Guedes made a huge save. PIRANGI's Luan Vianna got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The PIRANGI fans' excitement grew in the 14th match minute when PIRANGI's Luan Vianna looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 18th minute, PIRANGI's Alberto Tinoco ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Murilo Guedes. Murilo Guedes yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Luan Vianna's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 21stth minute, Murilo Guedes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maicon Varela in the 33rd minute of play forced PIRANGI's goalkeeper Andrézinho Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Palame's Hortêncio Duarte got a free kick in the 35th minute. Murilo Guedes made a fantastic save in the 40th minute, when Luan Vianna sent off a good shot on target. Luan Vianna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

If Maicon Varela had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Palame's Gil Prata slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Andrézinho Xavier. That made the score 5-1 after 60 minutes of play. 65 minutes into the match, Palame's goal looked a bit too open when Luan Vianna came free, but Murilo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 66 minutes of play, PIRANGI's Luan Vianna made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Murilo Guedes was left in no man's land by his defense there! Murilo Guedes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luan Vianna's shot from short distance in the 72nd minute. Murilo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Vianna in the 75th minute of play. After 76 played minutes Palame got a freekick which was hit by Kauan Gonçalves. Luan Vianna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Murilo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 79th minute Alberto Tinoco shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murilo Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca hit a great freekick 80 minutes into the match. The supporters of Palame booed when PIRANGI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Dionísio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 87th minute of the match David de Moraes shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Andrézinho Xavier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Murilo Guedes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alberto Tinoco went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 7-1 was the resulting score. When the referee ended the match the PIRANGI players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
