After 12 played minutes, Caire's Dráusio Andrade shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacinto Porto came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caire reached it. In the 20th minute, Narciso Valle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Eduardo Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Friburguense FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Sanches was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Eduardo Sanches notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Caire's Décio Freire. Décio Freire was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The wind increased when Eduardo Sanches made the kick off in the second half. With a little luck, Friburguense FC's Jacinto Porto got control of the ball when Célio Soeiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Eduardo Sanches had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Décio Freire. Caire's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eduardo Sanches was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 64th minute, Eduardo Sanches managed to get in a good position for a shot. Friburguense FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Eduardo Sanches was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Décio Freire breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Luiz Eduardo Teles might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Décio Freire. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Eduardo Teles ran back to his position shaking his head. After 73 played minutes Caire got a freekick which was hit by Kauã Varela. Décio Freire took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Sanches, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcus Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacinto Porto having to interfere. Diogo dos Santos kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After having played for 89 minutes, Marcus Fontes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Caire's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marcus Fontes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Décio Freire stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eduardo Sanches's shot from short distance in the 95th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Caire players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Friburguense FC.
