Renatinho Salles's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Vágner Soares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. Acácio Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Victorino Cai charged in rather forcefully in the 15th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Victorino Cai the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. If Rômulo Velasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Caco Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Rômulo Velasco scored 0-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vágner Soares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Renatinho Salles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rômulo Velasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vágner Soares having to interfere. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Renatinho Salles made a kick off. In the 52nd minute, Rômulo Velasco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Velasco in the 56th minute of play forced Burituranas FC's goalkeeper Vágner Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 57th minute, Caco Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vágner Soares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-3. In the 61st minute, Faustão Toscano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vágner Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. With a little luck, Burituranas FC's Vágner Soares got control of the ball when Beto Hoffmann tried to sneak it across the goal line. A collision led to BressanDick FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Renatinho Salles hit a great ball. Alexandre Barbosa hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 76th minute of the match, Rômulo Velasco tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Vágner Soares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 77th match minute, Burituranas FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Marinho to maneuver through the defense. In the 81st minute, Rômulo Velasco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 82 minutes into the match, Burituranas FC's goalkeeper Vágner Soares had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Renatinho Salles. The supporters of BressanDick FC booed when Burituranas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jeremias Marinho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Caco Velasco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 95th minute, Caco Velasco had to leave the field with a concussion. BressanDick FC's Sérgio Palmeira was substituted for Caco Velasco. When the match was over BressanDick FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Burituranas FC throughout the match.
