Acácio Brodel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alberto Tinoco, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Luan Vianna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 26th minute of the match, but Acácio Brodel made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Luan Vianna got free with Acácio Brodel in the 33rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Luan Vianna took the ball and in the 36 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Acácio Brodel. Acácio Brodel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. The referee ignored PIRANGI's protests and gave Danilo Rocha a yellow card for diving instead. Danilo Rocha hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luan Vianna scored 5-0 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Acácio Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Luan Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 89th match minute, PIRANGI was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Afonsinho Pirani to maneuver through the defense. Andrézinho Xavier acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 90th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Dida Leal. Acácio Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alberto Tinoco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. PIRANGI's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
