Eliézer Neiva might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacinto Porto. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eliézer Neiva ran back to his position shaking his head. Mário Castro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Luiz Eduardo Teles went, in the 10th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Eduardo Sanches scored 0-2 in the 14th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Mário Castro, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Friburguense FC's Eduardo Sanches got a free kick in the 16th minute. Eliézer Neiva recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Edu Montenegro hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. The Friburguense FC fans' excitement grew in the 31st match minute when Friburguense FC's Eduardo Sanches looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Zé Paulo Ferreira during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Mário Castro stood somewhat misplaced when Luiz Eduardo Teles came free in front of goal and shot 0-4 to the left of him in the 79 minute. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Douglas Corinthius EC! Douglas Corinthius EC:s Mário Castro showed great skill when he stopped Diogo dos Santos:s penalty. After a long run with the ball, Diogo dos Santos did a trick in the 85th minute in front of Douglas Corinthius EC's goalkeeper, who threw himself to the side. After that it was simple to shoot 0-5.
