Spectators: 7223 (Terracing: 5419, Seating: 1661, VIP seats: 143) Gil Prata made the kick off and thus started the match. In the 7th minute, Gil Prata left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Palame fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Maicon Varela's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Cléberson Mandrak firmly grabbed it by the left post. In the 15th minute, Roberto Brasil ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Murilo Guedes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 18 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Palame! In the 19th minute there was a penalty for Família Araujo FC. Roberto Brasil stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Murilo Guedes. 1-2. Roberto Brasil sent away a hard shot on goal in the 25th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 26 minutes, Fellipe Schmidt managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Família Araujo FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fellipe Schmidt was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tiaguinho Freire recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roberto Brasil in the 31st minute of play forced Palame's goalkeeper Murilo Guedes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fellipe Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Murilo Guedes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Tiaguinho Freire managed to get in a good position for a shot. Família Araujo FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiaguinho Freire was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Murilo Guedes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cleiton Maranhense received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Murilo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Palame's Hortêncio Duarte got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Maicon Varela's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Cléberson Mandrak read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Roberto Brasil to strike the kick off in the second half. Gil Prata fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cléberson Mandrak having to interfere. When Roberto Brasil came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Família Araujo FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Brasil couldn't finish the play. In the 60th minute, Roberto Brasil left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Murilo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cleiton Maranhense in the 68th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Palame's goal looked a bit too open when Emanuel Trancoso came free, but Murilo Guedes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Roberto Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. Murilo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Deivid Arósio during the 76th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Deivid Arósio hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Roberto Brasil could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Murilo Guedes made a huge save. Família Araujo FC's Roberto Brasil got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Roberto Brasil received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Murilo Guedes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Roberto Brasil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The corner ended in Roberto Brasil almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Palame's Murilo Guedes did a great save. Família Araujo FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
