The supporters of PIRANGI booed when Palame was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enéas de Lara didn't get a good kick on the ball. Murilo Guedes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luan Vianna in the 6th minute of play. The Palame fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Murilo Guedes should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Luan Vianna in the 14th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Murilo Guedes saved Palame from getting behind. Murilo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gil Prata in the 22nd minute of play forced PIRANGI's goalkeeper Andrézinho Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Luan Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 27 minutes, Rui Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the PIRANGI and the Palame players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rui Dionísio kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. 30 minutes into the match, Luan Vianna had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Murilo Guedes. PIRANGI's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alberto Tinoco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Murilo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luan Vianna, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luan Vianna was the one to do the kick off. The PIRANGI fans' excitement grew in the 51st match minute when PIRANGI's Alberto Tinoco looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Andrézinho Xavier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maicon Varela, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Murilo Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alberto Tinoco in the 56th minute of the match. Murilo Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luan Vianna in the 59th minute. Murilo Guedes was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tiago Gabriel da Fonseca. Alberto Tinoco's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 67thth minute, Murilo Guedes skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. In the 70th minute, Gil Prata got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 75 minutes into the game, Palame's Deivid Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrézinho Xavier made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. If Alberto Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A hard shot 84 in the game by Luan Vianna from a close distance when the talented Murilo Guedes managed to make a qualified save. Palame's players were relieved. When PIRANGI's Alberto Tinoco in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Luan Vianna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. PIRANGI's Alberto Tinoco got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The Palame fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. PIRANGI were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
