After 3rd play minutes Falcão Messias shot 1-0, a short shot which went by Sidnei Bittencourt and just under the crossbar into goal. In the 7th minute of the match, Falcão Messias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sidnei Bittencourt was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Auxerre's Sidnei Bittencourt proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Auxerre from getting a goal against them. Falcão Messias could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Sidnei Bittencourt made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Auxerre's zone, Paulo Maciel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sidnei Bittencourt came out of the goal and Paulo Maciel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 23rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Auxerre's goalkeeper Sidnei Bittencourt, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hélder Travassos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Sidnei Bittencourt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Roberto Paraibano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 33 minutes, Hélder Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALO 13™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sidnei Bittencourt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hélder Travassos in the 37th minute of the match. In the 39th match minute, Auxerre was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Falcão Guimarães to maneuver through the defense. In the 41st minute, Dário da Cunha hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Roberto Paraibano made the kick off in the second half. 53 minutes into the game, Dário da Cunha was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Auxerre's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave GALO 13™ the free kick. After 53 played minutes Auxerre got a freekick which was hit by Dário da Cunha. 58 minutes into the match, Auxerre's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Messias came free, but Sidnei Bittencourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 60th minute, Falcão Messias made a precise shot to the right of Sidnei Bittencourt. Auxerre's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Hélder Travassos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sidnei Bittencourt having to interfere. A collision led to GALO 13™ getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Júlio Torres hit a great ball. GALO 13™'s Falcão Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 79th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Falcão Messias put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Sidnei Bittencourt. After having played for 86 minutes, Hélder Travassos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GALO 13™'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Hélder Travassos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Paulo Maciel managed to get in a good position for a shot. GALO 13™'s supporters rose to their feet, but Paulo Maciel was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sidnei Bittencourt breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sidnei Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Messias in the 93rd minute of play. Sidnei Bittencourt didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when GALO 13™'s Falcão Messias shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-1 in the ordered_time% minute. When the referee ended the match the GALO 13™ players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
