Júlio Torres sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Zequinha's Sydney Berger proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Zequinha from getting a goal against them. Falcão Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Berger having to interfere. When GALO 13™'s Falcão Messias in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zequinha's goalie prevented a goal. In the 30th minute of the match, Falcão Messias got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sydney Berger was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. GALO 13™'s supporters stood up full of expectation in the 37th minute of the game, when Tostão de Castro after an extraordinary solo performance found himself with a golden opportunity in front of Zequinha's goal. Tostão de Castro was unfortunally a little to anxious and the ball went outside the goal. Sydney Berger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paulo Maciel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Zequinha's Sydney Berger played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paulo Maciel in the 41st minute of play. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Falcão Messias was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Zequinha's Ediberto Dantas got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Paulo Maciel struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Sydney Berger didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for GALO 13™. An unexpectedly hard shot by Júlio Torres in the 58th minute of play forced Zequinha's goalkeeper Sydney Berger to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Falcão Messias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Berger having to interfere. Sydney Berger didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Júlio Torres went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 66th minute, Tostão de Castro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sydney Berger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Travassos, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Eurico Breckenfeld hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 73rd minute of the match Tostão de Castro shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sydney Berger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sydney Berger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Messias in the 74th minute of play. When the match clock showed 78 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Falcão Messias sped through Zequinha's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Sydney Berger. Falcão Messias took the ball and in the 81 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Berger. Sydney Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. 89 minutes into the match, Zequinha's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Maciel came free, but Sydney Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Falcão Messias took the ball and in the 91 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Berger. Sydney Berger dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 95 minutes into the match, Zequinha's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Messias came free, but Sydney Berger reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. GALO 13™'s supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
