After 11 played minutes Mariola got a freekick which was hit by Alfredinho Campidelis. When Rony Chaves came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Blue F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rony Chaves couldn't finish the play. Adem Seyran took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Silvério Leal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adem Seyran having to make a save. Edgar Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Seyran having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvério Leal got free with Adem Seyran in the 22nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 25th minute Sydney Paraense shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Coelho saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 27th minute, Carlos Eduardo Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Adem Seyran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvério Leal in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th minute the ball was on its way in behind Mariola's goalkeeper Rubinho Coelho, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sydney Paraense in the 57th minute of play forced Mariola's goalkeeper Rubinho Coelho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Blue F.C.'s Rony Chaves got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Mariola's Rubinho Coelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Paraense in the 60th minute of play. In the 67th match minute, Mariola was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edgar Fernandez to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Mariola's Rubinho Coelho got control of the ball when Rony Chaves tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Silvério Leal came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Mariola fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mariola supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Blue F.C.'s performance. The match ended with a win for Blue F.C..
