Spectators: 7286 (Terracing: 5467, Seating: 1675, VIP seats: 144) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Sydney Paraense started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the game, Nilton de Senna cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Adem Seyran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Arapapa AD's goalkeeper Nilton Bertassi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 8th match minute, Blue F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eliézer Sergipano to maneuver through the defense. Mário Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Norberto Guedes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Blue F.C. booed when Arapapa AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mário Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 20th minute Carlos Eduardo Hoffmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilton Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Adem Seyran showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mário Ortiz in the 24th minute of the match. Mário Ortiz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adem Seyran having to interfere. 30 minutes into the game, Arapapa AD's Norberto Guedes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adem Seyran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-3. Nilton Bertassi came out of the goal in the 33rd minute to try and stop a shot by Blue F.C.'s Rony Chaves. But to his dismay, Rony Chaves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Adem Seyran came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Arapapa AD's Nilton de Senna. But to his dismay, Nilton de Senna quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Rony Chaves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mário Ortiz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sydney Paraense recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arapapa AD's Nilton Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sydney Paraense in the 56th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Nilton de Senna in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Adem Seyran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arapapa AD's Mário Ortiz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rony Chaves in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nilton Bertassi saved Arapapa AD from getting behind. When Eliézer Sergipano fell near the penalty area in the 63rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Blue F.C.'s protests and gave Eliézer Sergipano a yellow card for diving instead. In the 63rd minute, Eliézer Sergipano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 66 minutes into the game, Sydney Paraense cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-4. Nilton Bertassi was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Mário Ortiz struck a weak shot in the 74th minute. Adem Seyran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arapapa AD. With a little luck, Blue F.C.'s Adem Seyran got control of the ball when Nilton de Senna tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliézer Sergipano got his second yellow card in the match during the 82nd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Blue F.C.'s Eliézer Sergipano got a free kick in the 83rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mário Ortiz in the 86th minute of play forced Blue F.C.'s goalkeeper Adem Seyran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 87th minute, Rony Chaves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mário Ortiz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Adem Seyran came out and tried to block the shot, but Mário Ortiz slotted it home off the left post making it 2-5 in the 89th minute.
