Spectators: 6443 (Terracing: 5443, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Gino de Queiroz kicked off to start the match. Augusto Andrade made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ulisses Motta in the 3rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ulisses Motta in the 9th minute of play forced EDY3422's goalkeeper Augusto Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mateus Medeiros charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mateus Medeiros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mateus Medeiros kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Augusto Andrade showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ulisses Motta in the 13th minute of the match. EDY3422's Augusto Andrade played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vito Jacinto in the 16th minute of play. If Ulisses Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Andrade showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ulisses Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vito Jacinto in the 31st minute of play forced EDY3422's goalkeeper Augusto Andrade to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by César Abraão during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jairo Lira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 36th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Oswaldo Proença. Muliterno's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Ulisses Motta received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Augusto Andrade tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Gino de Queiroz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. EDY3422's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gino de Queiroz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Dário Moraes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Oswaldo Proença. That made the score 1-0 in the 48 minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Ulisses Motta struck a weak shot in the 54th minute. Augusto Andrade didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muliterno. Gino de Queiroz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Oswaldo Proença read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 59th minute of play. If Dedé de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 71 minutes into the game, Vito Jacinto recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Augusto Andrade. Vito Jacinto showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. During the 74th minute of the match Dedé de Sena completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dedé de Sena a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 74 played minutes Muliterno got a freekick which was hit by Dedé de Sena. Vito Jacinto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Augusto Andrade made a huge save. When César Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Muliterno fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that César Abraão couldn't finish the play. EDY3422's Dário Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After having played for 88 minutes, Vito Jacinto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Muliterno's supporters crossed their fingers, but Vito Jacinto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Vito Jacinto recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 95th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a little luck, EDY3422's Augusto Andrade got control of the ball when Vito Jacinto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Muliterno players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
