When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Tiago Simão made a kick off. In the 89thth minute of the game Sydney Zanette who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but New Life's Carlos Alberto Travassos was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Ivo Berger notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of New Life's Carlos Alberto Travassos. Carlos Alberto Travassos was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Carioca EC made a substitution. Luís Gustavo Fantini replaced Dino Magalhães. When the referee ended the match the Carioca EC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
