Dieguinho Albuquerque hit a great freekick 11 minutes into the match. If Vladimir Branco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 23rd minute, Edmundo Félix hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Dieguinho Albuquerque came up free with the goalie in the 24th minute, the Arrelia AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dieguinho Albuquerque couldn't finish the play. In the 26th minute Evandro Mandrak shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kryspin Osowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dieguinho Albuquerque struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Duarte Saldanha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Arrelia AD. Dieguinho Albuquerque might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Duarte Saldanha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dieguinho Albuquerque ran back to his position shaking his head. When Arrelia AD's Vladimir Branco in the 31st minute got a chance for a shot 31st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Phantásticos FC's goalie prevented a goal. Evandro Mandrak recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 39th minute, Dieguinho Albuquerque made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Saldanha. Phantásticos FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Dieguinho Albuquerque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duarte Saldanha having to interfere. In the 45th match minute, Phantásticos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto Amaral to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Vladimir Branco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmundo Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Kryspin Osowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Phantásticos FC's Duarte Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vladimir Branco in the 54th minute of play. Thomás Mendes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Kryspin Osowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thomás Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Osowski having to interfere. If Evandro Mandrak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arrelia AD's Dieguinho Albuquerque got a good chance for a goal in the 67th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 70 played minutes Arrelia AD got a freekick which was hit by Cafu de Amaral. Cristiano França took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 71st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Kryspin Osowski. Arrelia AD's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Dieguinho Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 76 minutes, Thomás Mendes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Phantásticos FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Thomás Mendes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Duarte Saldanha made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Dieguinho Albuquerque sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, Phantásticos FC's Dagoberto Motta got a free kick in the 86th minute. The audience was convinced that Vladimir Branco's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Saldanha was relentless in the 88th minute of the game. 95 minutes into the match, Phantásticos FC's goalkeeper Duarte Saldanha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dieguinho Albuquerque. Arrelia AD's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
