Paulo Renato Brodel came out of the goal in the 12th minute to try and stop a shot by Manituba's Breno Koehler. But to his dismay, Breno Koehler quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. TH Football Club's Arnaldo da Costa managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Sílvio Luiz Mota in the 16 minute of the game. Arnaldo da Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Nilson Velasco came out and tried to block the shot, but Arnaldo da Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 17th minute. TH Football Club's Paulo Renato Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Augusto Vinhas in the 25th minute of play. José Augusto Vinhas's late challenge caught a TH Football Club's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. José Augusto Vinhas helped the player get up and apologised. José Augusto Vinhas hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. In the 30th minute, Thomás Esteves made a precise shot to the right of Nilson Velasco. Manituba's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. When TH Football Club's Thomás Esteves in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The TH Football Club fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-1. Ronaldinho Rossi kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 48 minutes, Thomás Esteves made it 4-1 with a short kick to the right side. Manituba's Nilson Velasco tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.

With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nilson Velasco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Teodoro Félix in the 81st minute of play forced Manituba's goalkeeper Nilson Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Nilson Velasco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Thomás Esteves, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Teodoro Félix blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nilson Velasco having to make a save. In the 86th minute, Thomás Esteves got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ivo Nogueira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nilson Velasco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 93rd minute Thomás Esteves shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nilson Velasco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
