Spectators: 7201 (Terracing: 5402, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 143) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Tiaguinho Ramalho made the kick off which started today's match. In the 8th minute, Dieguinho Albuquerque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dieguinho Albuquerque recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Vágner Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vladimir Branco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vágner Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vladimir Branco's shot from short distance in the 30th minute. Sousel EC's Vágner Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cafu de Amaral in the 33rd minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiaguinho Ramalho in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kryspin Osowski saved Arrelia AD from getting behind. Kryspin Osowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcos Barros in the 37th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Dieguinho Albuquerque left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arrelia AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vladimir Branco was the one to do the kick off. Vágner Félix took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dieguinho Albuquerque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Vágner Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dieguinho Albuquerque in the 53rd minute of play. When Tiaguinho Ramalho came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Sousel EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tiaguinho Ramalho couldn't finish the play. If Dieguinho Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dieguinho Albuquerque received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Vágner Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 64th minute, Marcos Barros fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vladimir Branco in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vágner Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vladimir Branco in the 68th minute of play forced Sousel EC's goalkeeper Vágner Félix to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Arrelia AD's Kryspin Osowski got control of the ball when Marcos Barros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Marcos Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Osowski having to interfere. 82 minutes into the game, Arrelia AD's Dieguinho Albuquerque nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vágner Félix made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Tiaguinho Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marcos Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kryspin Osowski having to interfere. Arrelia AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
