When the match clock showed 67 minutes, the score became 0-5 when Evaristo Rodrigues sped through New Life's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Carlos Alberto Travassos. After a rather tough play, Santastico FC's Caco Ramos got a free kick in the 70th minute. Adelino Aparecido kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in New Life's zone, Evaristo Rodrigues stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. After 83 played minutes New Life got a freekick which was hit by Ricardo Trevisan. Carlos Alberto Travassos made an important save on a dangerous shot by Juvenal Leite in the 84th minute. In the 94th minute, Evaristo Rodrigues got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
