The New Life fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Carlos Alberto Travassos should have stopped the shot. Benjamim Queiroz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. The wind increased when Vladimir Branco made the kick off in the second half. When Cafu de Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Arrelia AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cafu de Amaral couldn't finish the play. The long shot by Wahyu Sugendo in the 54th minute really tested Carlos Alberto Travassos's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Dieguinho Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Carlos Alberto Travassos made a huge save. If Dieguinho Albuquerque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Arrelia AD players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
