A very good chance. 16 minutes into the match, Mamutes F.C.'s Paulo da Rocha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cléberson Paraíba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ian Terra to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 64th minute of the match Gernando Zonta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gonçalo Catarinense skillfully saved the ball. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gonçalo Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ian Terra in the 80th minute of play. After 82 minutes Mamutes F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Osvaldinho Ramos who took care of the corner kick. Jânio Vianna was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. Gonçalo Catarinense showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ian Terra in the 85th minute of the match. Ricardinho Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Toilettendeckel F.C.'s zone, Umberto Linhares stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléberson Paraíba came out of the goal and Umberto Linhares tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardinho Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Gonçalo Catarinense didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ian Terra went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-1 was the resulting score. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
