When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Víktor Andrade made a kick off. When Giovanni Messias fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Acarape's protests and gave Giovanni Messias a yellow card for diving instead. In the 60th match minute, Acarape was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Giovanni Messias to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute of the match Léo Paulista sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cássio Bittencourt skillfully saved the ball. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Artur Gonçalves, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Víktor Andrade in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Artur Gonçalves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Acarape's Giovanni Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 77th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Acarape's Thiago Zanette got a free kick in the 81st minute. If Luís Paulo Bittencourt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luís Paulo Bittencourt recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Erasmo Araújo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Acarape played a much better game than Barcelona and deserved their victory. The Barcelona players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
