Spectators: 7281 (Terracing: 5463, Seating: 1674, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benicio Hustaz made the kick off which started today's match. Linus Stålman succeeded in the game's 9th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Conrado Figueiredo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugênio de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 16th minute, Grêmio's Benicio Hustaz dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Conrado Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugênio de Brito in the 27th minute of the match. Wágner Matos recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Britto hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 31st minute, Benicio Hustaz made a precise shot to the right of Guto Cosme. Vaca Veia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-1. If Linus Stålman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Linus Stålman in the 40thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Guto Cosme, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Aloísio Britto hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Dito Gerber recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eugênio de Brito to make the kick off. After some careless play in the Vaca Veia defense, Benicio Hustaz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Guto Cosme. The Vaca Veia fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Guto Cosme should have stopped the shot. Manfredo de Alcântara's late challenge caught a Vaca Veia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Manfredo de Alcântara helped the player get up and apologised. In the 56th match minute, Grêmio was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manfredo de Alcântara to maneuver through the defense. Mané Dionísio was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 57th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Benicio Hustaz struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Guto Cosme didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grêmio. Conrado Figueiredo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anísio Braga in the 70th minute. After 78 played minutes Grêmio got a freekick which was hit by Rony Saldanha. The long shot by Jano Koehler in the 80th minute really tested Conrado Figueiredo's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Guto Cosme came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Grêmio's Wágner Matos. But to his dismay, Wágner Matos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. In the 90th minute, Linus Stålman got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Wágner Matos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio's supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Matos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Guto Cosme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Grêmio's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
