In the 43rd minute of the match Eduardo Oliveira sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cleiton Teles skillfully saved the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

After having played for 60 minutes, Eduardo Oliveira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. RAZONETE FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eduardo Oliveira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 63 minutes into the game, Eduardo Oliveira cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Cleiton Teles was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Sílvio Vianna's late challenge caught a RAZONETE FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sílvio Vianna helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of RAZONETE FC booed when Monlevade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position.
