After some careless play in the Ilhota defense, Ricardinho Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mateus Urbano. The Ilhota fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mateus Urbano should have stopped the shot. Ian Terra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 20th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 22 minutes into the match, Ilhota's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Terra came free, but Mateus Urbano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, João Vítor Gonçalves managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ilhota's supporters rose to their feet, but João Vítor Gonçalves was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cléberson Paraíba breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Toilettendeckel F.C.'s zone, João Vítor Gonçalves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cléberson Paraíba came out of the goal and João Vítor Gonçalves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ilhota's defense didn't have a chance, in the 34th minute, when Ricardinho Monteiro scored to the left of an out of position Mateus Urbano, making the score, 3-0. 38 minutes into the game, João Vítor Gonçalves cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. Cléberson Paraíba was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Ricardinho Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fernandão Furlan to make the kick off. Cléberson Paraíba took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fernandão Furlan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Toilettendeckel F.C. getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Claudinei Paes hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardinho Monteiro in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mateus Urbano saved Ilhota from getting behind. Ilhota's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
