Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ramiro Neiva in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sydney Neves prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Arthur Sousa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 35th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 37 minutes into the match, FDS CLUB's goal looked a bit too open when Ramiro Neiva came free, but Sydney Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Ramiro Neiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monlevade's supporters rose to their feet, but Ramiro Neiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sydney Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cássio Bertassi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 66 minutes into the game, Sílvio Vianna was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Monlevade's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave FDS CLUB the free kick. In the 66th minute, Sílvio Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cleiton Teles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cássio Bertassi in the 70th minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Geovanni Monteiro in the 71st minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. 76 minutes into the match, Arthur Sousa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sydney Neves. FDS CLUB's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arthur Sousa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3.
