Spectators: 7047 (Terracing: 5422, Seating: 1575, VIP seats: 50) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benicio Hustaz made the kick off which started today's match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jorge Costa in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Conrado Figueiredo saved Grêmio from getting behind. After some careless play in the FDS CLUB defense, Gustav Håkansson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sydney Neves. The FDS CLUB fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sydney Neves should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in FDS CLUB's zone, Benicio Hustaz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Neves came out of the goal and Benicio Hustaz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Leonardo Recife recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sydney Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Hustaz in the 21st minute of play. In the 23rd match minute, FDS CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Benicio Hustaz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio's supporters rose to their feet, but Benicio Hustaz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sydney Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Conrado Figueiredo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorge Costa in the 26th minute of the match. After 30th play minutes Benicio Hustaz shot 0-2, a short shot which went by Sydney Neves and just under the crossbar into goal. FDS CLUB's Sydney Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Linus Stålman in the 38th minute of play. Linus Stålman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sydney Neves having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jorge Costa to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Jorge Costa made a precise shot to the right of Conrado Figueiredo. Grêmio's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Linus Stålman could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Sydney Neves made a huge save. In a very dangerous position, a player in FDS CLUB fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 62nd minute. Penalty! In the 64th minute there was a penalty for Grêmio. Nestor Ortiz stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sydney Neves. 1-3. Sydney Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benicio Hustaz in the 72nd minute of play. In the 76th match minute, FDS CLUB was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Diego Cruz to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Nestor Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Grêmio's supporters rose to their feet, but Nestor Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sydney Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to FDS CLUB getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Bruno Gaúcho hit a great ball. After having played for 81 minutes, Linus Stålman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grêmio's supporters crossed their fingers, but Linus Stålman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Nestor Ortiz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sydney Neves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Wágner Matos might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sydney Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Wágner Matos ran back to his position shaking his head. Linus Stålman succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-4 in the 88th playminute. Grêmio's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
