Pindamonhangaba VC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barathinaikos the free kick. The supporters of Barathinaikos booed when Pindamonhangaba VC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dudu Maranhense didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Pindamonhangaba VC getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Waldir da Fonseca hit a great ball. Tostão Koehler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 35 minutes into the match, Elói Cardoso dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Flavinho Goiano, 2-0. When Barathinaikos's Elói Cardoso in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Barathinaikos's Mazinho Paiva was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Flavinho Goiano in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Cardoso in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Flavinho Goiano saved Pindamonhangaba VC from getting behind. Michel Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Barathinaikos's defense didn't have a chance, in the 84th minute, when Waldir da Fonseca scored to the left of an out of position Valdo Barbosa, making the score, 2-1. In the 87th minute, Waldir da Fonseca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
