Amauri Romero showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Franklin Leite kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Amauri Romero. That made the score 0-7 in the 83 minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Gois's goal looked a bit too open when Tostão Koehler came free, but Amauri Romero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Barathinaikos's Percy Carneiro slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Amauri Romero. That made the score 0-8 after 88 minutes of play. Amauri Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Cardoso in the 92nd minute of the match. Matheus Donato's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Amauri Romero firmly grabbed it by the left post. The Gois fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Barathinaikos were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
