The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Atletico Malagoli SC. After a rather tough play, Atletico Malagoli SC's Régis Alcântara got a free kick in the 27th minute. Guilherme de Medeiros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Angelo do Vale, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Rogério Perez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Guilherme de Medeiros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cláudio de Carvalho during the 72nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a defensive mix-up in Luvirtual's zone, Edvaldo Saldanha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Amílton Dante came out of the goal and Edvaldo Saldanha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Amílton Dante came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Atletico Malagoli SC's Edvaldo Saldanha. But to his dismay, Edvaldo Saldanha quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Atletico Malagoli SC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
