Armando Perez hit a great ball. Wiliam Nunes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Amauri Romero made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Wiliam Nunes got free with Amauri Romero in the 26th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Lauro da Silveira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 30th minute, Lauro da Silveira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Denílson Paraíba was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. João Pedro Moraes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denílson Paraíba having to interfere. Lauro da Silveira took the ball and in the 37 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denílson Paraíba. Denílson Paraíba dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. caverna de adulão's Denílson Paraíba played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lauro da Silveira in the 42nd minute of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Durval Domingues to make the kick off. When the match was over Gois could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than caverna de adulão throughout the match.
