Spectators: 5670 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Ernani Duarte took the kick off in the first half of the match. Elói Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Percy Carneiro came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Barathinaikos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Percy Carneiro couldn't finish the play. Luís Fábio das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Elói Cardoso in the 10th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elói Cardoso in the 11th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luís Fábio das Neves saved Forset Sport Club from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Forset Sport Club's zone, Percy Carneiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Fábio das Neves came out of the goal and Percy Carneiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match had gone on for 15 minutes, Elói Cardoso put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Luís Fábio das Neves. Elói Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Barathinaikos's Elói Cardoso in the 21st minute got a chance for a shot 21st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Forset Sport Club's goalie prevented a goal. Elói Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Fábio das Neves having to interfere. Rafael Guerra recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdo Barbosa made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Tarcisio Vaz sent off a good shot on target. In the 28th match minute, Forset Sport Club was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ernani Duarte to maneuver through the defense. After some careless play in the Forset Sport Club defense, Elói Cardoso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Luís Fábio das Neves. The Forset Sport Club fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Luís Fábio das Neves should have stopped the shot. Zézinho Maciel took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Luís Fábio das Neves. Luís Fábio das Neves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. Luís Fábio das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elói Cardoso, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 45th minute Ernani Duarte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valdo Barbosa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46thth minute of the game Elói Cardoso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forset Sport Club's Luís Fábio das Neves was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 47 played minutes Percy Carneiro shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Forset Sport Club's Luís Fábio das Neves to catch but Percy Carneiro was lucky. It became 0-4 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-4 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Elói Cardoso made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 54th minute, Elói Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barathinaikos's supporters rose to their feet, but Elói Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luís Fábio das Neves breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Miguel Hoffmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Valdo Barbosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hélder Senna struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Valdo Barbosa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forset Sport Club. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tostão Koehler in the 62nd minute of play forced Forset Sport Club's goalkeeper Luís Fábio das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barathinaikos's Elói Cardoso got a good chance for a goal in the 66th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rafael Guerra blasted a shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Valdo Barbosa having to make a save. Valdo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Valdo Barbosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ernani Duarte in the 74th minute of play. Marcinho Gaúcho hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Forset Sport Club's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Furtado came free, but Luís Fábio das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Evaristo Furtado recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 84th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Rafael Guerra fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Forset Sport Club's protests and gave Rafael Guerra a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Forset Sport Club's Rafael Guerra got a free kick in the 87th minute. Valdo Barbosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Senna, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Elói Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Percy Carneiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Luís Fábio das Neves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barathinaikos's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
