Spectators: 7159 (Terracing: 5403, Seating: 1656, VIP seats: 100) Edmílson Arce started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Lauro da Silveira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 8thth minute of the game João Pedro Moraes who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but JV Lideral's Marcinho de Azevedo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to JV Lideral getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. José Pedro Matos hit a great ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Noel Queirós got free with Amauri Romero in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Gois's João Pedro Moraes in the 12th minute got a chance for a shot 12th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye JV Lideral's goalie prevented a goal. Gois's Amauri Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Pedro Matos in the 17th minute of play. Amauri Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmílson Arce's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. João Pedro Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcinho de Azevedo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Marcinho de Azevedo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lauro da Silveira's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. Gois's Amauri Romero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Queirós in the 27th minute of play. Amauri Romero didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 28th minute, which inside left pole to 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling João Pedro Moraes in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcinho de Azevedo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcinho de Azevedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro da Silveira, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. João Pedro Moraes took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcinho de Azevedo. Marcinho de Azevedo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 48th minute, JV Lideral's Edmílson Arce dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when João Pedro Moraes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute José Pedro Matos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amauri Romero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Amauri Romero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edmílson Arce in the 55th minute of the match. A collision led to Gois getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Caio Meira hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, JV Lideral's José Pedro Matos got a free kick in the 68th minute. After 69 played minutes Gois got a freekick which was hit by Ronaldão Paulista. In the 71st minute, Ronaldão Paulista hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. João Pedro Moraes's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 75thth minute, Marcinho de Azevedo skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Arce in the 78th minute of play forced Gois's goalkeeper Amauri Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Amauri Romero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Noel Queirós in the 80th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 82nd minute, João Pedro Moraes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gois's supporters rose to their feet, but João Pedro Moraes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcinho de Azevedo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gois's João Pedro Moraes got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lauro da Silveira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Marcinho de Azevedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
