Betinho Senna charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Betinho Senna the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to FC Larizza getting a freekick after 5 minutes play. Betinho Senna hit a great ball. João Adolfo do Vale hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. Marcelo Rosado came out of the goal in the 10th minute to try and stop a shot by Caraiva's Genílson Moraes. But to his dismay, Genílson Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 24th minute Lenílson Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rubinho Gerber saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When José Cearense fell near the penalty area in the 35th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC Larizza's protests and gave José Cearense a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to FC Larizza getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. José Cearense hit a great ball. In the 36th minute, Tiago Gabriel Proença sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Larizza's Marcelo Rosado didn't even have to move. Genílson Moraes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the match, Caraiva's Genílson Moraes sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marcelo Rosado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. During the 42nd minute of the match Betinho Senna completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Betinho Senna a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Betinho Senna hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Dino Vidal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Rosado having to interfere. 49 minutes into the game, Dino Vidal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Marcelo Rosado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

The wind increased when Genílson Moraes made the kick off in the second half. Genílson Moraes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 57th minute of the match, but Marcelo Rosado made a huge save. In the 59th match minute, FC Larizza was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Oswaldo Santana to maneuver through the defense. Tiago Gabriel Proença took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 60th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Marcelo Rosado. FC Larizza's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 61 minutes into the match, Genílson Moraes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Marcelo Rosado, 0-3. Gugu Porto hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. Marcelo Rosado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 66th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Tiago Gabriel Proença. Sandrinho Leme kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Caraiva's Sandrinho Leme got a free kick in the 70th minute. Rubinho Gerber showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maurinho Paes, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. Sandrinho Leme sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. With a little luck, FC Larizza's Marcelo Rosado got control of the ball when Genílson Moraes tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Caraiva's goalkeeper Rubinho Gerber, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Alex Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Larizza's Marcelo Rosado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save FC Larizza from getting a goal against them. Marcelo Rosado came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Caraiva's Genílson Moraes. But to his dismay, Genílson Moraes quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-4. When the final whistle sounded Caraiva left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than FC Larizza.
