After a rather tough play, FC Larizza's Luiz Paulo Zonta got a free kick in the 61st minute. Ronaldinho Pirani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcelo Rosado having to interfere. 79 minutes into the match, FC Larizza's goal looked a bit too open when Osvaldinho de Moraes came free, but Marcelo Rosado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Frank Quadros kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Mauaense FC had won after a very even match.
