Perivaldo Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Percival Cosme recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Percival Cosme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Juninho Sarmento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baumart Team's Jonas Botelho quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Manfredo Guerra, made in the 28th minute of the game. If Percival Cosme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 48th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Botelho to strike the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Baumart Team's zone, Perivaldo Paraense stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juninho Sarmento came out of the goal and Perivaldo Paraense tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juninho Sarmento was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Percival Cosme showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 63 minute of play. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Baumart Team! Durvalino Favoretto shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. Delfim Lopes kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Perivaldo Paraense who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 77thth minute tested the skills of Juninho Sarmento when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, —» F.C.R ƒøø†ß壣 MZ «—'s Percival Cosme sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Juninho Sarmento narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
