Spectators: 7263 (Terracing: 5449, Seating: 1670, VIP seats: 144) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ronaldinho Pirani made the kick off which started today's match. After a rather tough play, Jacaresinho FC's Luiz Guilherme Matos got a free kick in the 10th minute. Faustão Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdir Santana in the 13th minute of play forced Jacaresinho FC's goalkeeper Erik Quirino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Valdir Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erik Quirino having to interfere. Cauã Moraes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Artur Salgado read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. Artur Salgado came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacaresinho FC's Tomé Sergipano. But to his dismay, Tomé Sergipano quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. When Valdir Santana fell near the penalty area in the 28th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mauaense FC's protests and gave Valdir Santana a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Valdir Santana hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Artur Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tomé Sergipano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Jacaresinho FC getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Osmar Custódio hit a great ball. After 41 played minutes Jacaresinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Alessandro Baiano. In the 43rdth minute of the game Ronaldinho Pirani who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Jacaresinho FC's Erik Quirino was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomé Sergipano was the one to do the kick off. Ronaldinho Pirani blasted a shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Erik Quirino having to make a save. Artur Salgado was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Almir Oliveira. Faustão Coutinho kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. Artur Salgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tomé Sergipano in the 71st minute of the match. Ronaldinho Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Erik Quirino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmar Custódio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Ronaldinho Pirani recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With his leg Artur Salgado managed to avoid a goal in the 79thth minute, when Jacaresinho FC's Cauã Moraes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Cauã Moraes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mauaense FC's Afonso Zanette got a good chance for a goal in the 83rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 87th minute of the match Valdir Santana shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Quirino showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. If Valdir Alcântara had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Artur Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cauã Moraes in the 91st minute. After 92 played minutes Mauaense FC got a freekick which was hit by Kléber Alcântara.
