Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frédson do Valle kicked off to start the match. Frédson do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Cerezo having to interfere. In the 6th minute Frédson do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Durvalino Cordeiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 7th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Josué Cerezo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Frédson do Valle's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Carlinhos Sampaio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adalberto Xavier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 10 played minutes Bacaubas got a freekick which was hit by Alfredão Félix. Eurico Félix fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Carlinhos Sampaio having to interfere. Frédson do Valle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Cerezo having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Bacaubas's Durvalino Cordeiro got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Josué Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson do Valle in the 23rd minute of play. A collision led to Jatei AD getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Ediberto Brasil hit a great ball. After 34 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Jatei AD! Durvalino Cordeiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Josué Cerezo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ediberto Brasil hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. Bacaubas's Carlinhos Sampaio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eurico Félix in the 46th minute of play.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eurico Félix to make the kick off. Josué Cerezo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Frédson do Valle in the 55th minute of play. Durvalino Cordeiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Josué Cerezo having to interfere. Josué Cerezo came out of the goal and Frédson do Valle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 76th minute, one of Jatei AD:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Jatei AD. In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Bacaubas. Dedê Barral stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Josué Cerezo. 2-0. Adalberto Xavier charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adalberto Xavier the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adalberto Xavier kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Durvalino Cordeiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacaubas's supporters rose to their feet, but Durvalino Cordeiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Josué Cerezo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 91st minute Frédson do Valle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Josué Cerezo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ediberto Brasil during the 95th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ediberto Brasil hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When Bacaubas's Durvalino Cordeiro in the 96th minute got a chance for a shot 96th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jatei AD's goalie prevented a goal. If Frédson do Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jatei AD's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
