Manchester Cic's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bengt Johnsson was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Bengt Johnsson fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Manchester Cic's protests and gave Bengt Johnsson a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ARNONI 4EVER booed when Manchester Cic was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bengt Johnsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

With his leg Dedê Rossi managed to avoid a goal in the 66thth minute, when Manchester Cic's Hudson Correia fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. 67 minutes into the match, Bengt Johnsson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dedê Rossi. ARNONI 4EVER's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Bengt Johnsson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Dedê Rossi made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Hudson Correia sent off a good shot on target. The long shot by Oswaldo Martins in the 72nd minute really tested Dedê Rossi's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Bengt Johnsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Rossi having to interfere. In the 78th minute, Caio Cerezo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Bengt Johnsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 79th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hudson Correia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Rossi having to interfere. When the match was over Manchester Cic could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ARNONI 4EVER throughout the match.
