That made the score 1-0 after 3 minutes of play. 9 minutes into the match, Clube Atlético Gaúcho's goalkeeper Joélson Castro had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseu Nóbrega. The supporters of ARNONI 4EVER booed when Clube Atlético Gaúcho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Waldemar Quintal didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Gaúcho defense, Matheus Torres kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joélson Castro. The Clube Atlético Gaúcho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Castro should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Anderson Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Dedê Rossi was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. Caio Cerezo kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ARNONI 4EVER's zone, Anderson Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dedê Rossi came out of the goal and Anderson Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 21 minutes, Cristiano Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clube Atlético Gaúcho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cristiano Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clube Atlético Gaúcho's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Matheus Torres scored to the left of an out of position Joélson Castro, making the score, 3-0. Eliseu Nóbrega received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Joélson Castro came out and tried to block the shot, but Eliseu Nóbrega slotted it home off the left post making it 4-0 in the 33rd minute. Lino Couto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Dedê Rossi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristiano Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dedê Rossi having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Eliseu Nóbrega stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in ARNONI 4EVER's zone, Anderson Cruz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dedê Rossi came out of the goal and Anderson Cruz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 58 minutes, Caio Godoi mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clube Atlético Gaúcho and the ARNONI 4EVER players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 58th minute, Caio Godoi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 59 played minutes, ARNONI 4EVER's Luiz Eduardo Jacinto shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Joélson Castro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ARNONI 4EVER reached it. Joélson Castro made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliseu Nóbrega in the 62nd minute of play. After some careless play in the Clube Atlético Gaúcho defense, Eliseu Nóbrega kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Joélson Castro. The Clube Atlético Gaúcho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Joélson Castro should have stopped the shot. Clube Atlético Gaúcho's Joélson Castro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Caio Cerezo in the 73rd minute of play. Luís Guilherme Ramalho hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. 5-2 became the score in the 79th minute when Anderson Cruz elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Dedê Rossi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Quintal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 90 minutes into the match, Caio Cerezo notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Clube Atlético Gaúcho's Joélson Castro. Joélson Castro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. ARNONI 4EVER fully deserved thier win.
