After 6 played minutes Inesopolis got a freekick which was hit by Perivaldo de Sousa. Murilo Arantes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gilvan Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Murilo Arantes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 16th minute Gilvan Abraão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Enrique Alves saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Enrique Alves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilvan Abraão, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. After 29 played minutes Carlton Blends got a freekick which was hit by Arthur da Mata. 31 minutes into the game, Inesopolis's Gilvan Abraão nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Enrique Alves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. After 35 played minutes Inesopolis got a freekick which was hit by Eusébio Antunes. Amauri Leão came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Carlton Blends's Humberto Vieira. But to his dismay, Humberto Vieira quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 42 minutes into the match, Murilo Arantes notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Carlton Blends's Enrique Alves. Enrique Alves was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nico Barbosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Murilo Arantes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Nico Barbosa managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carlton Blends's supporters rose to their feet, but Nico Barbosa was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Amauri Leão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Inesopolis's Amauri Leão played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Barbosa in the 72nd minute of play. Amauri Leão showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nico Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. If Gilvan Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 77 minutes, Nico Barbosa made it 2-3 with a short kick to the right side. Inesopolis's Amauri Leão tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. When Carlton Blends's Nico Barbosa in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Inesopolis's goalie prevented a goal. 82 minutes into the match, Inesopolis's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Barbosa came free, but Amauri Leão reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 83rd minute, Humberto Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Murilo Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Enrique Alves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaltino Trigo's late challenge caught a Inesopolis's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Isaltino Trigo helped the player get up and apologised. Isaltino Trigo hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Murilo Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Inesopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Murilo Arantes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gilvan Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Enrique Alves having to interfere. In the 97th play minute Eusébio Antunes came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Enrique Alves. 2-4. Inesopolis's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
